Happy holidays!

Finally I had the time to do a couple of holidays pictures with my dollies. This year is the first Christmas in the new house and we are going to Portugal for Christmas to spend it with the family, so I decided not to buy a big tree but just a tiny one and some other simple decorations just to give the house a touch of Christmas (I love Christmas, it is my favorite holiday!!!). Turns out it is the perfect size for my dolls so I thought it would be cute to create a scene out of it with the whole family, even those out of the story joined. Everyone helped out decorating the tree and afterwards we took a family pic with everyone together 🙂

The little girls decided to help with the decorations: Iris took care of the bows, Evie and Izzy were in charge of the rest of the decorations and Serena helped them out to reach the highest places. Also Charlotte together with Bee and Emi helped with the ornaments. Little Vanilla helped arrange Santa on the top of the tree and put his light in place.
George decided to play Santa himself and bring the presents to place under the tree and Eliza baked some cookies to welcome the real Santa while the others worked. Pandora was really excited about the cookies, and she wanted to eat them herself since she loves sweets (it is her first Christmas with the humans so she didn’t understand what they were for). Arya was quite confused about the whole thing too (since in her world there is not such thing as Christmas or Christmas trees) she spent the whole time wondering what the whole thing was about. Finally Alice, being a photography enthusiast, took care of the pictures to create some memories 🙂

When the tree was ready Alice set the timer and the whole family took a picture together with it. Pandora was lucky to get a cookie, because Eliza felt sorry for her and Santa eats too many cookies anyway!

I am not sure how much time I will have for other pictures and posts before Christmas, maybe I will post something else but I’m not sure, so me and my dolly family would like to wish you all Happy Holidays: a merry Christmas full of love and presents and a wonderful new year full of wonderful surprises and dolly goodness!!!

Leaving for summer!

I am really happy that I am finally leaving and going back to Lisbon this Sunday!!! I haven’t been in Portugal since Christmas and I don’t see my family for 8 months!!! It’s the longest I have been away from them in my entire life and I hope it won’t happen ever again…this year was a busy year, being the last one of my Master and I needed to organise a lot of stuff and I ended up not having a lot of vacation.

I have been very active in the BJD community this last weeks because I have been in more free but in September work starts again. However, I hope I manage to keep up with dolls and I want to try and post at least once a week. Let’s see how this plan goes 😉

To say goodbye to everyone I decided to take yet another family picture, this time with the WHOLE family (even the size misfits) because at least for now it is complete 😀

I love all of them and I am happy with my new arrival Penelope ❤ I am quite happy with the group right now too, I might add a new MSD soon but let's see how things go, at the moment these are my babies (from left to right):

Bee and Izzy were kind of hard to make, because they are currently going through a make-over, and they do not have a default look yet but I made them as they are right now. My Xagadoll Lara is the one that maybe is less developed because I am still in the process of getting to know her, but this is what I imagine of her now… I still have to decide her name too, I am waiting to see her in person with her new face-up to decide if the names I thought of fit 🙂

This is actually an Adult game that lets you create characters and then interact in some creepy ways…ahem, but if you  ignore some of the features you manage to create really cute characters. Here is the link if you are interested (ATTENTION: there is some ADULT content).

Vanilla gets some love <3

Vanilla is one of my oldest dolls and probably the one who gets less attention and spoiling in the family. Like I posted a while ago in my blog we always had a love-hate relationship even if I never managed to sell her (pukis are a hard size for me: hard to dress, to find eyes-wigs, hardo to pose and photograph), but a while ago I finally managed to make her look like I wanted all along with a new wig and a pair of eyes and I promised I would get her some nice clothes as soon as there was a chance.
So here she is, being spoiled!!! This is a really sweet “fairylike” set from Fairyland I got for her and I LOVE it!!! It’s totally her! She looks positively adorable in it! ❤
And since she needed some spoiling (and clothes) urgently, we are currently waiting for 3 beautiful new dresses by Carla Benham! I will post pics soon (hopefully!)

As for other news…
For those who follow my photos: I decided that for now I am keeping BOTH, Flickr and Ipernity. I saw that most of my contacts over on Flickr are staying so I will be keeping it and I am getting used to most changes (even if they are really annoying sometimes) and also waiting to see if they improve at least some of the mistakes they made. But well, for me right now what really matters is the community so I am staying. However I am also keeping the Ipernity account (I am trying out the Club for 3 months to see if I like it) and I will try to upload pics on both of them.

Back in action!!!

Here I am!!! I have been away for a really long time…I missed Flickr and dolls so much 😦

Let’s say there were a lot of changes in my life since the beginning of this year: most of them very good and one of them really sad but I have been totally busy! Since I moved in with my boyfriend and we are putting the house together and I started my 3 month internship at the same time, I didn’t have time for anything else, literally…now, hopefully, things will change a bit. And as I had let you know before, it’s official: the whole family move to Italy!!! And since a long time went by there were even some make-overs in the process 😉 I will show you more details soon!!!!
