Happy holidays!

Finally I had the time to do a couple of holidays pictures with my dollies. This year is the first Christmas in the new house and we are going to Portugal for Christmas to spend it with the family, so I decided not to buy a big tree but just a tiny one and some other simple decorations just to give the house a touch of Christmas (I love Christmas, it is my favorite holiday!!!). Turns out it is the perfect size for my dolls so I thought it would be cute to create a scene out of it with the whole family, even those out of the story joined. Everyone helped out decorating the tree and afterwards we took a family pic with everyone together 🙂

The little girls decided to help with the decorations: Iris took care of the bows, Evie and Izzy were in charge of the rest of the decorations and Serena helped them out to reach the highest places. Also Charlotte together with Bee and Emi helped with the ornaments. Little Vanilla helped arrange Santa on the top of the tree and put his light in place.
George decided to play Santa himself and bring the presents to place under the tree and Eliza baked some cookies to welcome the real Santa while the others worked. Pandora was really excited about the cookies, and she wanted to eat them herself since she loves sweets (it is her first Christmas with the humans so she didn’t understand what they were for). Arya was quite confused about the whole thing too (since in her world there is not such thing as Christmas or Christmas trees) she spent the whole time wondering what the whole thing was about. Finally Alice, being a photography enthusiast, took care of the pictures to create some memories 🙂

When the tree was ready Alice set the timer and the whole family took a picture together with it. Pandora was lucky to get a cookie, because Eliza felt sorry for her and Santa eats too many cookies anyway!

I am not sure how much time I will have for other pictures and posts before Christmas, maybe I will post something else but I’m not sure, so me and my dolly family would like to wish you all Happy Holidays: a merry Christmas full of love and presents and a wonderful new year full of wonderful surprises and dolly goodness!!!

10 facts about Arya!

I thought I would do a 10 facts about my new girl to present her and to introduce her story. Hopefully it won’t be too confusing as her story is quite complex, but hopefully I will be telling you more about it soon 🙂 Enjoy!

1. Arya’s real name is Arianne Llewellyn but she goes by Arya Lyn since she escaped.

2. She is running away from her family, because she found out they want to kill her. She lives on the run basically her whole story.

3. She lives in a world different from our own, with a very strict hierarchy and a social organisation that could almost be considered medieval. However this world is more developed than our medieval society was. One curious point is that women an men are considered equals, but while women are considered pure, men always have to take care of the “dirty” stuff.

4. She was born in the elite, the “Guardians of Eden” as they are called, and she is from a very important family. They are the leaders in her world. They live in Eden, a completely artificial and “perfect” place that works like a court, and is separated from the rest of the people.

5. She always felt trapped in her life, she hates rules and being proper, she always wanted to try something else and she always wanted to see what is outside of Eden.

6. Her father and mother died when she was little, and she doesn’t remember almost anything, she was told it was an accident, but nobody really knows. She was raised by an uncle.

7. She is very discreet and quiet by nature, and she is not at all used to love or demonstrations of affection, as in Eden it is not normal.

8. She has light blue eyes, that is something really rare in her world, and she is quite self conscious about them.

9. She pretty much doesn’t know how to do anything, she was raised having servants to do everything for her. Her servants are part of another group in the society and they are caller “Gardeners” (they are the workers in this world), some of them live with the masters, but most of them live in the cities outside of Eden.

10. When she runs away she is saved by Aleksander and he brings her to a “Nomad” camp. The “Nomads” are another group of people, they live in camps and move around the world doing business and commerce. They are like hippies or gypsies, the outsiders. But they are tolerated quite well because they are needed. Arya didn’t even know they existed until she is brought there.

Meet Arya and Pandora! <3

Finally after such a long wait my new girls are back from spa with new amzing fece-ups by La Coterie de la Lune!!! And they look AWESOME! I can’t stop recommending her, because she is a great artist and so professional! The weather really didn’t help at all but she kept me informed all the time and even sent me a cute scarf as a gift ❤

They arrived yesterday morning, but it was a busy day for me, because even if we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving I actually had a big dinner and many friends over so I was busy the whole day cooking hehe. I had time to make a quick crappy video introducing them and a couple of photos you can see in my Flickr!

Here they are ready:

 

Arya (Narae Dreamer 416 in Korean Real Skin) is wearing her default look, I think she looks so perfect! Her wig is [FMDM-1058] CoCo Brown from ForMyDoll and her eyes were actually the default glass eyes that came with my Serena (Iplehouse nYID Bianca), and they are a grey-ish light blue that couldn’t be more perfect for her. She is wearing a mix and match outfit from various makers because in her story she lives in a quite peculiar world and she dresses a bit differently from us…this is something she could wear in her world but in a very specific situation. I will try to tell you a bit more about her story soon since it is quite complex 🙂

Pandora (Unoa Lusis Minifee Hybrid) is a forest nymph. Her animal is the dear and she can turn into one, but she can also turn into other animals or plans (even if it is harder for her). I will explain more about her soon too though 😉 This look is not what I had planned for her, because the one I planned actually didn’t work so I just put this wig and eyes on her for now, but I guess I will buy her something else 🙂 Her beautiful outfit is by dear Floriana from HarajukuDolls, and it is her “forest” outfit, it is perfect for her! Usually she wears human clothes (mori and romantic style) when she is with humans, but in the forest she usually wears this one.

I am soooo happy about them! Hopefully I will have some free time soon to take more pics and tell you more about them 😉
