Looking at SD boys…

As you probably know I have been thinking about getting a SD boy for quite a while to shell the missing character of my SD Story “The Travellers”, however until now something else always comes in the way …hehe
I have been looking at new possibilities for sculpts now that I have a better idea of him and his character and I decided to make a sort of wishlist to share with you guys 🙂

These boys are quite different but I guess it will depend on the direction the character takes, however I see in them something of him and I love the sculpts!!! ❤

For now the ones inspiring me the most are Dreaming Doll Khan and Ringdoll Lucifer, but since I am not getting him immeadiately I guess that it still can change a bit 😉

Also I just wanted to let you know that I haven't been having much time for dolls lately. I am going to be a bit away for the next couple of weeks because of some big changes going on in my life, but I will be back soon 🙂

Padma, the Healer

Photostory: A Walk in the Woods

This weekend I had some time and the weather was nice so I decided to take my dolls outside. It  was not supposed to be a story, just a photoshoot. But when I was editing the pictures I kept seeing these scenes in my head and imagining what they were doing so I decided to write a small description and make a sort of story, even if it doesn’t make much sense! Meridian’s Gift and a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year 2014 everyone!!!! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who follows this blog and comments on my posts! You make me happy and inspire me so much in this hobby!

I have been so busy, as usual, in the Holidays! I am sorry I am not commenting much or posting anything but I had close to zero internet time during Christmas and I will be leaving for a small break in the mountains soon. Hopefully I will catch up with everyone’s posts, videos and pictures when I am back!

One of my dear doll friends, who is also the owner of the amazing blog Wayward Inn of Misfits (check out her blog, she has amazing characters and stories!!!) and her doll Meridian sent us a awesome package of gifts for Christmas! I just had the time to post the pictures now (sorry it’s a bit late!!!) but I couldn’t help but make a small photostory of Eliza’s package opening! Thank you soooo much dear for the gifts and hope you enjoy! 🙂

On Christmas day after everyone finished opening all the presents Eliza finds a curious package under the tree.
Eliza: Oh, there is another package here, someone must have missed it!…wait…it is for me? From Meridian! This is so unexpected and thoughtful of her!

Photo Challenge #1 and #2

I’m back in Lisbon taking a 10 day break! The project went well but it was exhausting: still a long way to go but the most stressing part should be over. Hoping to go back to having time for dollies and looking forward to Ldoll!!!

Photo Challenge #2
I made a small story for a weekly photo challenge over at the Portuguese BJD group on Facebook. I am having a lot of fun with it, and it is actually the first time I participate in such a thing, because I am always afraid I will end up forgetting or not having time. But since it is quite simple and relaxed I decided to give it a try. This week’s theme was Bed Hair- Messy hair when you wake up, and the victim was Alice. I actually love the way it turned out so I decided to post:

BED HAIR

Alice: Wha…What’s going on?
Me: Good morning Alice! Sorry for the photo, but I am doing them for a photo challenge, the theme is Bed Hair.
Alice: ARE YOU KIDDING??? Don’t even think about it! Turn away the camera because you are going to have to give me time to get presentable! My hair looks awful!
Me: But…but that’s the aim…

Alice: Here! Now it looks much better. You can take the picture: is the pose alright?
Me: But your hair is not a mess anymore!
Alice: I’m sorry, but the theme is BED hair or BAD hair? Because I have hair and I am in a bed so it should work. Also, people have to think I actually wake up like this: looking fantastic!
Me: Ok, ok….

Photo Challenge #1
Since I posted the second one I thought: why not post also the first one? The theme for this one was “Once upon a time…”. It’s not very elaborate because I didn’t have much time to dedicate to it. It’s inspired by Rapunzel (yeah I know the hair should be longer – Charlotte borrowed Serena’s wig for this – , but hopefully is enough to be convincing).
